Herbal Remedy For Insomnia

Chronic insomnia is a complex medical condition, often resulting based on data from a number of factors. Underlying mental or physical disorders can trigger chronic insomnia. Depression a multitude of commonly causes chronic insomnia. Other mental disorders like chronic anxiety and bipolar (manic) depression furthermore suggest chronic insomnia. In women, hormone fluctuations can significantly impair sleep. It is known that progesterone aids in sleeping. During menstruation, progesterone levels go down, causing insomnia. The common symptoms of menopause are hot flashes, anxiety and sweating, and these frequently occur at night during sleep. Women who are in the menopausal stage may also be experiencing psychological distress, triggering insomnia. As we age, surges of growth hormone (a substance associated with sleep) become blunted. Levels of major stress hormone, cortisol, have been observed to increase in older people in some studies, but results are not yet conclusive.

Levels of melatonin, a hormone that is produced by the pineal gland and is linked with sleep, are found to not decrease as a person gets older. Children whose bedtime schedules are not being regulated by parents tend to develop mild or occasional insomnia. However, a child’s temperament has been found to be directly linked to serious sleep disturbances and insomnia. For instance, children who were intense, high-strung and easily upset were found to have sleep problems than children who do not have such temperament.     You are fine… Yours is not insomnia… If you eat before you go to sleep that ll happen or change your bath….
    your solution is to change your habitat and make it suitable for you to sleep…
    Insomnia is what i have…
    Imagine that u can ever can go to sleep but only u can fall asleep without knowing what time u went to sleep….

    to beat insomnia, try the following sleep aid tips

    * When you get up, try to keep a schedule like, eat, take medicine and go to bed, etc.
    * Try to establish a relaxing before-sleep ritual, like taking warm bath, having light snack or reading for 10 minutes. This can let your body become informed that it is already near bed time.
    * When sleepy try to go to bed, get out of bed when not sleeping.
    * Have a regular exercise, it is best to exercise in the late afternoon, about six hours before bedtime.
    * Around bedtime, try to avoid caffeine, alcohol and smoking.
    * Don't nap, naps are best taken in the mid-afternoon.

    But if insomnia persist, consult a doctor.

    Clearly he had an addiction problem. Once you become that dependent on those types of medications, you need a much larger dose for them to become effective.

    I don't think this is as rare as people think it is. They would send him for a sleep study, find out what his brain is doing when he is trying to sleep, send him off to rehab as drug withdrawal is dangerous. Who knows if he had any other co-morbidity.

    Propofol is NEVER given to someone just because they cant sleep. That is just insane. As well as off label usage of medication, it is necessary in some aspects of medicine. Certainly not this particular drug!

    Your teacher gave you good advice but you didn't follow it. Did you run a search for "causes of insomnia"??
